You stop worrying every time you run the dishwasher. You don’t hear that slow gurgle from the bathroom sink anymore. Your shower drains in seconds, not minutes.
That’s what happens when someone actually cleans the line instead of just clearing it temporarily. Most companies snake out the blockage and leave. The roots grow back. The grease builds up again. You’re back where you started.
We use equipment designed to scrub the pipe walls clean from your house all the way to the street. That means the water flows like it should, and it keeps flowing. If tree roots are the problem, we cut them out completely and show you what was blocking things up. If your cast iron pipes are corroded through, we’ll tell you that too—because a temporary fix won’t help you in six months when the pipe collapses.
We’ve been handling South Florida’s toughest drain problems since 2007. We’re family-owned, state-certified, and built on over 40 years of combined plumbing experience plus 20 years of military service.
That military background matters because it shapes how we work. We show up on time. We do what we say we’ll do. We don’t cut corners or sell you things you don’t need.
We also understand Florida plumbing in a way national chains don’t. We know how aggressive tree roots are down here. We know most homes in Tropical Park built before 1975 still have cast iron pipes that are rusting from the inside out. We know what the soil does to your lines and how humidity accelerates corrosion. That’s not something you learn from a manual—it’s what you pick up after years of working in this specific environment.
First, we figure out what’s actually wrong. That usually means running a camera through your line so we can see the blockage, the pipe condition, and whether roots have broken through. You’ll see the same footage we do—no guessing, no upselling.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we explain your options. If it’s a clog we can clear, we use a rooter or hydro jet depending on what the pipe needs. If it’s roots, we cut them out mechanically and clean the line completely. If the pipe itself is damaged, we’ll walk you through what replacement looks like and why it matters.
The actual cleaning takes anywhere from an hour to a few hours depending on the severity. We work from your cleanout or access point all the way to the street connection, making sure the entire line is open and flowing. When we’re done, we test it, clean up, and show you the difference. You’ll know the job was done right because the water moves like it’s supposed to.
Ready to get started?
You get a full camera inspection so we both know what’s happening underground. You get the right equipment for the job—cable machines for standard clogs, cutting heads for root intrusion, hydro jetting for grease and buildup that won’t budge otherwise.
In Tropical Park and the surrounding South Florida area, tree root problems are incredibly common. Your sewer line runs underground, often near mature trees that are constantly searching for water. Even a tiny crack or loose joint gives roots a way in, and once they’re inside, they grow fast. We see this all the time in older neighborhoods where the landscaping has been there as long as the house. Our equipment is built to handle Florida’s aggressive root systems, and we don’t just poke a hole through—we remove the obstruction.
If you’ve got cast iron pipes, that’s another story. Most homes built in Tropical Park before the mid-70s used cast iron for drain and sewer lines. It was considered strong and durable back then, but we now know it corrodes, cracks, and eventually fails. If your line is compromised, we’ll tell you. We’ll also explain what replacing it involves, what it costs, and why waiting usually makes it worse. You’ll get a free estimate with no pressure to move forward until you’re ready.
If you’re dealing with a one-time clog in a single drain, that’s usually something we can clear without any major work. But if you’re seeing slow drainage in multiple fixtures, frequent backups, or water pooling in your yard, that’s often a sign of a bigger issue.
The best way to know for sure is with a camera inspection. We run a small camera through your drain line and you can see exactly what’s going on—whether it’s roots, a buildup of grease and debris, or a pipe that’s cracked or collapsed. If the pipe is still structurally sound, we clean it. If it’s damaged beyond repair, we’ll show you why replacement makes sense and what that looks like.
A lot of homes in Tropical Park still have original cast iron pipes from the 60s and 70s. Those pipes don’t last forever. They rust from the inside, crack under pressure, and become a recurring problem. If that’s what we find, we’ll walk you through your options with no pressure and no surprises.
Because most companies only clear the blockage—they don’t actually clean the pipe. They punch a hole through the clog so water can flow again, but they leave buildup on the walls and roots still attached to the pipe. Within weeks or months, it clogs right back up.
We clean the entire line from end to end. That means scrubbing the pipe walls, removing root masses completely, and making sure there’s nothing left behind that’ll cause problems later. It’s a longer process, but it’s the only way to get results that last.
Tree roots are one of the most common causes of repeat clogs in South Florida. Once roots find their way into your sewer line, they’ll keep growing back unless the pipe is fully cleaned or replaced. If your line keeps clogging in the same spot, that’s usually what’s happening. We’ll show you the roots on camera and explain whether cleaning will hold or if the pipe needs to be addressed.
It depends on what we find. A straightforward clog in a single line might take an hour. A root-infested sewer line that runs 80 feet to the street could take three or four hours, especially if we’re cleaning it properly and not just poking through.
We don’t rush the job to get to the next one. We take the time to do it right—run the camera, clear the blockage, clean the line, test the flow, and make sure it’s actually fixed. You’ll know before we start how long it should take based on what the camera shows us.
If we run into something unexpected—like a collapsed section of pipe or a major obstruction we can’t clear—we’ll stop, explain what’s happening, and talk through next steps. You’re never locked into work you didn’t agree to.
Yes, but we have to be careful. Cast iron pipes are often brittle and corroded by the time we’re called out. If we’re too aggressive with the equipment, we can crack a pipe that’s already weak. That’s why the camera inspection matters—we need to see the condition of the pipe before we start working on it.
If the cast iron is still intact but clogged, we can usually clean it without issue. If it’s heavily corroded, cracked, or separating at the joints, cleaning might give you temporary relief but it’s not a long-term fix. In those cases, we’ll recommend replacing the line before it fails completely and causes a bigger mess.
A lot of homeowners in Tropical Park are dealing with this exact situation. The pipes were installed decades ago and they’ve reached the end of their lifespan. We’ve replaced hundreds of cast iron lines across South Florida, and we can walk you through what that process looks like, what it costs, and how long it takes. No pressure—just honest information so you can make the right call.
Yes. Drain backups don’t wait for business hours, and we get that. If your sewer line backs up into your house or your main drain stops working completely, that’s an emergency. You need someone who can respond quickly and fix it right.
We’ve handled plenty of late-night calls from homeowners dealing with water backing up into their shower, toilet, or laundry room. It’s stressful, it’s messy, and it needs to be dealt with immediately. We’ll get there as fast as we can, assess the situation, and get your drains flowing again.
Keep in mind that emergency calls may come with different pricing than scheduled service, but we’ll always tell you the cost upfront before we start any work. No surprises, no hidden fees—just fast, reliable help when you need it most.
Snaking uses a cable with a cutting head to break through clogs and cut out roots. It’s effective for most blockages and it’s the standard approach for clearing a line. The cable spins as it moves through the pipe, cutting away whatever’s in the way.
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast away buildup, grease, and debris from the pipe walls. It’s more thorough than snaking because it actually cleans the pipe instead of just opening a path through the clog. We typically use hydro jetting for lines with heavy grease buildup, recurring clogs, or situations where the pipe needs a full cleaning.
Not every job needs hydro jetting, and we won’t recommend it unless it makes sense for your situation. Some pipes—especially older cast iron lines—can’t handle the pressure. That’s why we inspect first and choose the right method based on what your specific line needs. You’ll know what we’re doing and why before we do it.
