Permit requirements in Florida vary by county and city. Within Brevard County however, the following applies.

Residential Plumbing Permit: This type of permit is only necessary if the work involves the replacement or installation of water, sewer, gas or piping systems. It is not required for replacement of toilets, sinks, showers or other plumbing appliances.

Residential Renovation Permit: This type of permit is required for minor alterations, renovations and/or repairs that do not affect the building blueprint, add or eliminate living spaces or add square footage. Permits may only be issued to contractors for the scope of work under their state/county/city licensure.

At Drain Wizards Plumbing we are intimately familiar with the necessary permits and are able to handle the permitting process for all of our customers.
