You stop thinking about your plumbing. That’s the goal.
No more standing water in the shower. No more kitchen sink that drains slower every week. No more calling someone out every few months because the same toilet keeps backing up.
When drain cleaning is done right, it addresses what’s causing the blockage—not just what’s sitting in the pipe right now. That means looking at root intrusion if you’ve got older trees near your sewer line. It means checking for cast iron deterioration if your home was built before 1975. It means using a camera to see what’s actually happening underground, not just guessing.
Most homes in Wiley and across Brevard County deal with the same handful of issues: roots growing into compromised pipes, sand and debris settling in low spots, or old cast iron that’s corroding from the inside out. Florida’s year-round growing season makes root intrusion one of the most common culprits. Trees don’t stop looking for water, and if there’s even a small crack in your line, they’ll find it.
The difference between a temporary fix and a lasting one usually comes down to whether someone took the time to figure out why the clog keeps coming back.
We’ve been handling drain and sewer issues in Brevard County since 2007. Our company was built on 40+ years of combined plumbing experience and over 20 years of military service—values that show up in how we get the work done.
Carl, our owner, started in plumbing at 16. He’s seen every type of drain problem Florida throws at homeowners, from root-choked sewer lines in Rockledge to corroded cast iron in older Cocoa homes. We’re family-owned, state-certified (CFC#1428379), and locally operated out of Cocoa.
Wiley residents deal with the same challenges as the rest of the Space Coast: aging infrastructure, aggressive root systems, and sandy soil that accelerates sediment buildup. You need someone who knows how these systems fail and how to fix them for the long term—not just until the next rainy season.
First, we figure out what’s actually wrong. That usually means running a camera through your line to see what’s causing the blockage. You’re not paying for guesswork.
If it’s a straightforward clog—grease buildup, paper products, normal household waste—we’ll clear it with a cable or hydro jetting, depending on what the line needs. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the pipe clean, which works well for grease, sand, and minor root intrusion. It’s chemical-free and safe for your pipes and Florida’s ecosystem.
If the camera shows root intrusion, we’ll remove the roots and talk through your options. Sometimes that means clearing the line and monitoring it. Other times, it means addressing a crack or joint separation that’s letting roots in. If your cast iron pipe is deteriorating, we’ll tell you that too—and explain what happens if it’s ignored versus what replacement looks like.
Once the line is clear, you’ll know what caused it, what we did, and what to watch for. No surprises, no upselling, no coming back three months later for the same issue.
The goal is simple: fix it right, explain what happened, and give you a system that works.
Ready to get started?
A real drain cleaning service starts with a camera inspection. You can’t fix what you can’t see, and Florida’s underground conditions—sandy soil, shifting ground, invasive root systems—mean assumptions don’t hold up.
Once we know what’s in the line, we use the right tool for the job. Cable machines work for most clogs. Hydro jetting handles grease, sand, and light to moderate root intrusion. If there’s structural damage—cracks, collapses, separated joints—we’ll walk you through what that means and what your options are.
Brevard County homeowners, especially in areas like Wiley with older housing stock, often deal with cast iron sewer lines that are quietly deteriorating behind walls or under slabs. You won’t know there’s a problem until you’ve got a backup or a smell you can’t ignore. That’s why camera work matters. It catches issues before they become emergencies.
You’ll also get a clear explanation of what we found, what we did, and whether there’s anything you should keep an eye on. If your line is in good shape, we’ll tell you that. If it’s not, we’ll tell you that too—and what it’ll cost to address it, with no pressure and no inflated pricing.
Fair pricing, honest communication, and work that actually solves the problem. That’s what you’re paying for.
If you’re dealing with slow drains, recurring clogs, or backups that keep happening even after you’ve had someone out, it’s time for a camera inspection. That’s the only way to know for sure.
Drain cleaning handles blockages—roots, grease, debris, sand. But if your pipe is cracked, separated, or collapsing, cleaning won’t fix it. You’ll just keep having the same problem until the structural issue is addressed.
Common signs of damage include multiple slow drains throughout the house, sewage smells inside or outside, gurgling sounds when you flush, or wet spots in the yard near your sewer line. In Wiley and the rest of Brevard County, cast iron pipes in older homes are a frequent culprit. They corrode from the inside out, and by the time you notice a problem, the damage is often significant. A camera inspection shows exactly what’s going on and whether you’re looking at a cleaning job or something more involved.
Because the root cause wasn’t addressed. Most recurring clogs come from one of three things: root intrusion, deteriorating cast iron pipe, or a structural issue like a bellied or misaligned section of pipe.
If roots are getting into your line, clearing the clog is temporary. The roots will grow back unless the entry point—a crack, a joint, a hole—is repaired. Florida’s year-round growing season means roots don’t take a break, and they’re aggressive about finding water sources.
If your pipe is corroding or collapsing, debris will keep catching in the damaged area no matter how many times you snake it. And if there’s a low spot in your line where water pools, sand and sediment will settle there and build up over time. That’s especially common in Brevard County’s sandy soil. A camera inspection will show what’s actually causing the repeat clogs, and from there, you can make a decision about whether to repair, replace, or just stay on top of maintenance.
Snaking (or cabling) punches a hole through the clog so water can flow again. It works well for most blockages and it’s usually the first step. But it doesn’t scrub the pipe clean—it just clears a path.
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast away everything clinging to the pipe walls: grease, sand, soap buildup, light root intrusion. It’s more thorough, and it leaves the pipe in better shape for longer. It’s also safe for your plumbing and the environment—no harsh chemicals, just water.
We use hydro jetting when a line has heavy buildup, recurring grease clogs, or roots that need more than a cable can handle. It’s not always necessary, but when it is, it makes a noticeable difference in how long your drains stay clear. If you’ve got an older home in Wiley with cast iron pipes, we’ll check the condition of the line first—hydro jetting is safe for most pipes, but if the cast iron is severely corroded, we’ll recommend a different approach.
It depends on what’s causing the clog and how accessible your line is. A straightforward cable cleaning for a single drain usually runs less than a full sewer line cleanout with camera inspection and hydro jetting.
Most companies charge a flat rate for basic service calls and then adjust based on what’s needed. You should always get a clear price before work starts—no surprises, no hidden fees.
We offer free estimates for larger projects and transparent pricing on all service calls. If you’re a senior, there’s a 5% discount. The goal is to give you a fair price for work that actually fixes the problem, not just a quick patch that’ll fail in a few months. If a camera inspection shows you’ve got a bigger issue—like root damage or pipe deterioration—we’ll explain what that repair looks like and what it costs, and you can decide how you want to move forward. No pressure, just information.
Yes. Root intrusion is one of the most common causes of sewer line failure in Florida, and it happens faster than most people expect.
Tree roots grow toward moisture. If there’s even a hairline crack in your sewer pipe, roots will find it and work their way inside. Once they’re in, they expand as they grow, widening the crack and creating a net that catches everything flowing through the pipe. Eventually, the roots can completely block the line or cause it to collapse.
Florida’s climate makes this worse. There’s no dormant season, so roots grow year-round. Older cast iron pipes are especially vulnerable because they corrode over time, creating weak spots where roots can penetrate. If you’ve got large trees near your sewer line—especially oaks, willows, or palms—and you’re experiencing slow drains or backups, roots are a likely culprit. A camera inspection will show whether roots are in your line and how much damage they’ve caused. From there, you can decide whether to clear them and monitor the situation or address the entry point with a repair.
Stop using water in your house. That includes flushing toilets, running sinks, showers, dishwashers, and washing machines. Every gallon you put down the drain is a gallon that has nowhere to go, and it’ll come back up through the lowest point in your system—usually a basement drain, shower, or toilet.
If you’ve got a cleanout access point (a capped pipe in your yard or basement), check to see if it’s overflowing. If it is, that confirms the blockage is in your main sewer line, not just a single drain.
Then call a plumber who can get there quickly and has the tools to diagnose the problem—not just clear it temporarily. You need a camera inspection to see what’s causing the backup, whether it’s roots, a collapsed pipe, or a major clog. We handle emergency drain cleaning throughout Brevard County, including Wiley, and we’ll walk you through what’s happening and what it’ll take to fix it. The faster you act, the less damage you’ll deal with and the sooner your plumbing is back to normal.
