You’re not calling a plumber because everything’s fine. Something’s leaking, backing up, or about to fail completely. What you need is someone who can fix it correctly so you’re not dealing with the same problem six months from now.
That’s what matters here. When the work’s finished, your drains actually drain. Your water heater heats without the noise or the puddle underneath. Your pipes don’t rattle every time someone flushes a toilet.
If your home was built before 1975, there’s a decent chance you’ve got cast iron pipes somewhere in the system. In Rockwell and across Brevard County, those pipes are corroding faster than they would almost anywhere else. Salt air, humidity, acidic groundwater—it all adds up. What held together for decades up north falls apart in fifteen years here.
Replacing them with PVC means you’re done worrying about it. No more root intrusion. No more rust eating through from the inside. Just a system that works the way it’s supposed to.
We’ve been handling plumbing in Brevard County since 2007. We’re based in Cocoa, family-owned, and we’ve been working in Rockwell long enough to know which neighborhoods still have cast iron and which builders cut corners in the ’80s.
Our lead plumber is a State Certified Master Plumber with over 40 years of combined experience. Before that, 20 years of military service. That background shows up in how we work—on time, no surprises, and the job gets finished correctly.
We’re not a franchise. You’re not getting a different crew every time or someone reading from a script. You’re getting the same team that knows Rockwell’s plumbing history, understands Florida’s building codes, and has probably already worked on a house two streets over from yours.
First, we come out and take a look. If it’s a drain issue, we’ll often run a camera line to see what’s actually going on inside the pipe. That tells us whether it’s a clog, a break, or something that’s been deteriorating for years.
Once we know what we’re dealing with, we give you a free estimate. No pressure, no upselling. If your cast iron sewer line is shot, we’ll tell you. If it just needs a clean-out, we’ll tell you that too.
If you move forward, we handle everything—permits, excavation if needed, full installation of new PVC or other modern materials, and cleanup. For drain replacement or full repipes, we make sure the new system is up to code and built to handle Florida’s conditions. That includes proper slope, secure fittings, and materials that won’t corrode.
Most jobs wrap up in a day or two, depending on scope. Bigger projects like a house repipe or sewer line replacement from your home to the street might take longer, but we keep you in the loop the whole way. When we’re done, the system works. And if something’s not right, we come back and make it right.

We handle the full range of residential plumbing. That includes drain cleaning and rooter service, toilet and fixture repair or replacement, leak detection, water heater installation and repair, gas piping, camera inspections of sewer lines, and complete drain or sewer line replacement.
If you’re dealing with an older home in Rockwell, the most common issue we see is failing cast iron. It starts with slow drains, then backups, then a full collapse. Replacing it with PVC solves the problem for good. We also handle PVC replacement if your existing plastic lines were installed poorly or damaged during landscaping or foundation work.
Emergency plumbing repairs are part of what we do, though we’re not a 24/7 operation. If your water heater’s leaking all over the garage or a pipe bursts under the sink, call us. We’ll get there as fast as we can and stop the damage before it spreads.
Brevard County’s climate is tough on plumbing. Humidity speeds up corrosion. Saltwater intrusion affects groundwater and puts extra strain on older metal pipes. Seasonal shifts mess with water pressure. We’ve seen it all, and we know how to build systems that hold up here. That’s the difference between a repair that lasts two years and one that lasts twenty.
Slow drains are usually the first sign, especially if multiple fixtures are affected at once. If you’re dealing with frequent backups, bad smells coming from drains, or wet spots in your yard near the sewer line, that’s a red flag.
Homes in Rockwell built before 1975 almost always have cast iron somewhere in the system. In Florida’s climate, those pipes break down faster than they do in other parts of the country. Humidity, salt air, and acidic soil all speed up corrosion.
We can run a camera through your sewer line to see exactly what’s happening inside. That shows us cracks, root intrusion, rust buildup, or full collapses. From there, we’ll tell you whether you need a section replaced or if the whole line should come out. Most of the time, if one section is failing, the rest isn’t far behind.
Cast iron was the standard for decades because it’s strong and quiet. But it rusts from the inside out, especially in Florida. Once corrosion starts, it doesn’t stop. You’ll end up with leaks, cracks, and eventually a full failure.
PVC doesn’t corrode. It’s not affected by acidic water or soil conditions. It’s lighter, easier to install, and lasts longer in climates like ours. It’s also less expensive to work with, which keeps replacement costs down.
The only real downside to PVC is noise—water rushing through plastic pipes is louder than cast iron. But that’s a small trade-off for a system that won’t rot out in fifteen years. Most modern homes in Rockwell are built with PVC or ABS plastic for drain lines, and that’s what we install when we’re replacing old cast iron.
It depends on what’s being replaced and where it’s located. A single drain line under a slab might take a day. A full sewer line replacement from your house to the street could take two to three days, especially if we’re digging through a driveway or dealing with tricky access.
Most of the time is spent on excavation and making sure the new line is installed at the right slope. If the pitch is off even slightly, you’ll have drainage issues down the road. We also pull permits and make sure everything’s up to Brevard County code before we backfill and clean up.
You’ll have full use of your plumbing again as soon as the line is connected and tested. We don’t leave a job half-finished. If something comes up during the install—tree roots, unexpected soil conditions, old repairs that weren’t done right—we handle it and keep you updated on timing.
Yes, though we’re not a 24/7 operation. If you’ve got a burst pipe, a water heater that’s flooding your garage, or a sewer backup that’s creating a health hazard, call us. We’ll get there as quickly as we can and stop the immediate damage.
Most plumbing emergencies can be temporarily controlled by shutting off the water supply to that fixture or to the whole house. If you’re not sure where your shutoff valve is, find it now before you need it. It’s usually near the water meter or where the main line enters your home.
Once we’re on site, we’ll assess the damage, make the repair, and let you know if there’s a bigger issue that needs to be addressed. A burst pipe might be a one-time failure, or it might be a sign that your whole system is aging out. We’ll give you the full picture so you can make the right call.
There’s no one-size-fits-all number because every property is different. A straightforward replacement on an open lot with easy access costs a lot less than digging under a paved driveway or working around mature trees and underground utilities.
Most sewer line replacements in Brevard County run anywhere from a few thousand dollars to over ten thousand, depending on length, depth, and site conditions. If we’re replacing just a section of damaged pipe, that’s cheaper than a full line from the house to the street.
We give free estimates, and we’ll walk you through exactly what’s involved before any work starts. That includes the cost of permits, materials, labor, and any site restoration like re-sodding or repaving. No surprises, no hidden fees. You’ll know what you’re paying for and why.
In most cases, yes—if we have the right unit in stock or can get it quickly, and if the installation is straightforward. Swapping out a standard tank water heater in a garage or utility room usually takes a few hours.
If you’re upgrading to a larger capacity, switching from electric to gas (or vice versa), or installing a tankless system, that might take longer. Gas line work and venting requirements add time, and we need to make sure everything meets Florida code.
When your water heater fails, it’s usually not subtle. You’ll have no hot water, or worse, water pooling around the base of the unit. If that’s happening, shut off the water supply to the heater and give us a call. We’ll get you back up and running as fast as possible without cutting corners on the install.
